The workload for this position would be ad hoc, with approximately 2 requests per month, each requiring 2-6 hours of work.

Responsibilities
•Provides advice on job evaluation plans, policies, frameworks, and organizational design ensuring alignment to the collective agreement, legislation and pay equity principles in a client service environment.
•Manages and evaluates the Corporation’s internal job evaluation review process for unionized and management positions, identifying and implementing required improvements.
•Works with business owners across the Corporation to understand their business needs, challenges and opportunities and identifies job evaluation and organizational design requirements and recommends branch and work unit structures.
•Conducts research and analysis, and interpretation of collective agreements, legislation, policies, and procedures within a unionized environment.
•Develops, edits, and provides feedback on job descriptions for unionized and excluded management positions.
•Participates in and contributes expertise to projects as required.

•Management Classification and Compensation Framework (MCCF)
•Management Classification and Compensation Rules
•Canadian Human Rights Act, Section 11 – Pay Equity
•Public Service Labour Relations Act, Section 11(3)
•BC Government Employees Union Collective Agreement (i.e. 19th Master)
•Formal related coursework (i.e. Queens University IRC Organizational Design) is considered an asset.
