Conduct regular inspections to address any deviations and maintain quality consistency.
Contractor Management:
Select, negotiate with, and manage contractors and vendors to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of construction projects.
Oversee the bidding process for construction contracts.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
Obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction projects.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks associated with construction projects and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Address any unforeseen challenges promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in construction projects, particularly in Residential/villa construction.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successfully leading construction teams.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Financial acumen for budget management and cost control. Handled rapid construction methods on previous projects including modular Aluminum formwork systems, Tunnel forms etc., for buildings 25 to 40 floors.
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and unforeseen challenges.
Relevant certifications in project management or construction are desirable.
